What a day, what a crew
Year II of the Volcom #Chamshack has just come to conclusion and we’re already missing the Chamonix valley and dreaming of next year.
For the 2nd edition of the Volcom Chamonix experience we ugraded to a bigger and better Chalet in an excellent location, halfway between La Flégere and Aiguille du Midi. It consisted of multiple units with a big living room hangout in the middle and jacuzzi, sauna and steam bath sprinkled on top for extra comfort. The boys also built two quarter pipes in the courtyard facing each other with an in-run from the roof.
Many great evenings apres-riding were spent here, always with a cold Man & Wolf beer in hand.
Thanks to our guides, we always found pow

Burgers under a full moon. Those with a good eye will recognize the wild hair.. Yes, that’s Doobie
A typical day looked something like this:
-Wake up to fresh snow, indulge in a huge breakfast courtesy of Housekeeper Dr. Tim Tang, set up a 2020 test board, then get the debrief of the day from our immaculate guides Paul and Jean Rem (equal parts passion and professionality), arriving every morning precisely at 9am. Depending on weather, snow depth and crowd factor, they whisked us off to the best conditions, always. See pics if you don’t believe me.
Apres riding our usual hangout was Moo for lunch and beers, or snacks back at the Chalet. Then go out for hockey games, restaurant dinners or movie premieres and beers at the Volcom store.
Is this the secret behind his incredible pop? Arthur Longo takes waxing and scraping serious-sometimes...
No better crowdpleaser than a backflip- Arthur again

How people can live in cities is beyond me
The first week we had a cookout by Roster (Best burgers in France, served by our very own Vale Ducourtil) free and open for all at the house. It was cool to see lots of locals coming by.
Week II Cool Cats handled the food, amazing hot dogs with avocado and falafels for the veggie crew. Full house again.
Last day
One night we took over Maison des Artistes in the middle of Chamonix for a double-whammy;
A photo exhibition by Vernon Deck and a concert by Leopard Ale. A night to remember unless you had too many drinks to remember and minus the eye-burning farts so kindly pumped out by @jebronskybeat.
